Workshop - Advanced Work with Na'au & Digestion

Advanced Work with the
   Na'au & Digestion

The na'au is our gut, and it is the function of digestion and so much more.  Not only of food and nutrition, but it is how we digest information and thoughts, emotions and drives, and even our experience of our world.

The na'au is a raw and powerful force within us that is our primal source of inner-power, passion, and mana.  The na'au is a source of vision, and it is the voice of instinct and intuition within us.  Therefore, a healthy relationship with it in all of its many forms is critical to our total wellbeing.

This Intermediate & Advanced Level training is an active and hands-on course that begins with the physical structures and workings of digestion from an elemental perspective (fire, air, water, and earth), and then expands beyond the physical into the etheric and astral dynamics as well.

We will explore the innate wisdom of the gut and how to build your relationship with this limitless resource.  The physical structures and processes, along with the 3-body understandings provides a window to guide our hands-on listening through the lineage diagnostic ritual.

It assists our strategic thinking and creative vision to direct and weave together the elemental forces for our clients toward a healthier expression that nourishes this source of inner-power, passion, instinct, vision, intuition, and mana.

Apprenticeship Style Learning

Optional Day 3 Practice Session
For those wanting additional hands-on practice can add the optional Day 3 Practice Session.  This is offered apprenticeship-style where you can work with a variety of "clients" under the supervision of Kumu to practice listening and perception through the lineage diagnostic ritual.

You will work with developing personalized elemental treatment design for people on the table and gain feedback and guidance from Kumu Pono about your plan.  And you will practice providing that elemental session for your clients.

In-Person attendance for this segment is preferred.  However, if you can't be here in the classroom, and if you have volunteers to be practice subjects for you, online attendance is an option.

Frequently Asked Questions

This training is for you if you are an existing student of Hawaiian Energetics with any teacher in the lineage of Kaleolani Spencer and Ke Kumu and seeking to expand your understanding of the healing work (for yourself or for others).   This will be beneficial for practitioners of Hawaiian Energetics who are working to build their skills, diagnostics and treatment design in the ways of the Medical Kahuna, and creative vision for helping others.  In addition, it will be beneficial for those who are seeking a deeper self-understanding of your three bodies, your inner sources of power and vision, and creating a more meaningful relationship with all that is available with your na'au.

If you are already working with others in a practitioner-client arrangement, this course will provide new insights that will inform and enhance the work you do.  This work is not about learning new techniques to apply, but rather developing deeper understandings that will help you navigate your own approach to life, wellbeing, and healing.

Life gets busy.  We get it.  If you have a conflict for part of this weekend training, talk to Kumu Pono.  If flexibility is able to be provided, we will do our best to work with you.  However, it is a good chance that the recommendation will be to hold off for now and catch the course next time it is offered.

That depends on the state you live in.  Every state has their own laws defining the services that require a professional licensure and those that are not regulated.  While many states do not require a license for energy work, the hands-on physical manipulations will often be categorized as the practice of massage therapy.  If the state does not require a license, it is possible that your local city or town will require a license.  It will be your responsibility to know of your area.

No. We no longer provide continuing education hours.

The course is limited to 8 in-person seats and a maximum of 24 online participants to permit the best environment for learning this very personal journey. If all available seats have been taken, we will provide a "Interested/Waiting List" form to sign up to be notified. If a seat opens due to a cancellation, the waiting list group will be contacted and the seat is available on a first come, first served basis.

In the event there are 3 or more people on the waiting list for the in-person attendance, we will do our best to move to a larger venue in the same area.

*** Important Note for those Participating via Online Option...

If you plan to attend this workshop with the "Online" option, an important consideration is that you will need to have someone available for you to practice with in order to have the best learning experience.  Half of the learning is experiencing the work... after all, how can you recommend a therapy that you have never experienced?  Prior to the start of class, we will send an estimated time schedule so that at a minimum, you can have a friend or family member who can step in during the hands-on segments (no children please - that's a whole specialization we won't be able to explore).

The ideal is to coordinate with someone who would also like to attend the class.  As the class weekend approaches, we will send information with some "technical" suggestions to maximize your ability to watch and participate in the program.  Plus, we will include recommendations for how to plan so Kumu Pono can best observe your work and provide feedback.

You will also need a massage table and an easily movable stool or chair.  A bed or recliner-style chair for the "client" is not recommended because it won't create the required access and body posture for you to provide the therapy.  For your seat, a kitchen chair without arm rests or similar can work, and the best option is an adjustable height stool on wheels.
